Speaking of contentious second-round series, it seems to be everywhere….. even the NBA!
I honestly have no idea what’s going on here. Something about Big Red, thugs, LaLa and MC Lyte… and George Karl calling Mavs fans worse than “hostile”. Mavs fans? ”Scuz me, but I happen to have attended many, many Mavs games, and the fans are as rough and fearsome as they come. For example, look at this photo I took of the 301 section seconds before I was brained by a garden hose full of buckshot:

Just about the only thing more theatening than Dallas fans is warm milk and a good night’s rest. Meanwhile, Denver has a season-long rep for thuggishness and brutality…. hmm, I was going to expound upon this further with a quote from Timothy Leary, but perhaps this passionate topic is best left for tomorrow morning’s Cupcheck.
